Winter Snowflake Tree

Children love to rip and tear. Here’s a fun, sensory craft activity which gives them a chance to do that.

You will need the following items: brown paper bags or craft paper, white glue, glitter, and snow-like materials (white feathers, snowflakes, cotton balls, doilies).

Using brown lunch bags or brown packing paper, have them tear and twist strips for the tree and its branches. I like to have some picture books of snowy trees for the children to reference. Glue the tree on construction paper and add the “snow” on the branches and ground.

Sit back and watch how each child interprets his/her tree.
