The Consular Section of the Embassy of Mexico covers the following Autonomous Communities: Andalusia, Asturias, Canary Islands, Cantabria, Castilla y León, Castilla-La Mancha, Extremadura, Galicia, La Rioja, Madrid, Murcia, Navarra, the Basque Country and the autonomous cities of Ceuta and Melilla.

The fees for the issuance of the passport will be those communicated when the interested party requests an appointment with the MEXITEL service or those provided directly by the Consular Office, in accordance with Article 20 of the Federal Law on Fees (LFD) in force.
If the passport is issued on an emergency basis, an additional 30% of the cost of the ordinary passport requested will be charged, depending on its validity, in accordance with the second paragraph of article 20 of the LFD in force.
