When we talk about a certified product, we know that we are dealing with a product that meets certain standards and therefore is a quality product that generates confidence in its use. But what is the standard for height equipment?
The American ANSI standard has been characterized as one of the most developed and demanding in relation to height equipment, so it is this standard to which we submit our equipment.
Called “Safety Requirements of the North American Standard for Personal Fall Protection Systems, Subsystems and Components” it was originally published in 1992, and was modified in 1999. The purpose of this standard was to regulate the variety of equipment being developed in the growing field of fall protection.
The standard covered the following equipment: harnesses, lanyards (including self-retracting lanyards), lifelines, shock absorbers, fall arresters and equipment components.
Governmental entity that is part of the U.S. Department of Labor, whose purpose is to ensure safe and healthful working conditions for working men and women by setting and enforcing standards and providing training, inclusion, instruction and assistance.

During the course, blocking elements will be available for the participant to recognize their proper use in different types of work, which will be complemented with explanatory videos and discussion workshops.
The course is taught by an instructor of the ANSI standard for Latin America and is delivered through a multimedia presentation, with analysis of real situations by the instructors and participants, workshop-type discussions and elaboration of exercises based on the objectives of the course.
