Is there an ideal age to educate in emotional intelligence? Marc Brackett, founding director of the Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence, spoke about the role of emotions in the lives of human beings.

Education in emotional intelligence is a lifelong task that involves all people, regardless of the context in which they develop, and it is key that we face it as scientists and not as critics or judges. D., founding director of the Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence and professor at the Child Study Center, Yale School of Medicine at Yale University, left this week to those attending the 6th International Congress on Educational Innovation (CIIE) held at the Technological University of Monterrey (Mexico).

We cannot create a bubble in which our child can live without facing such negative feelings as anger, sadness, frustration, disappointment, etc. However, we can provide them with strategies through which to control this emotional outburst so that they can interpret the experience in the most positive way possible.
