The Sims 3
The basic set includes a total of 22 women’s hairstyles and 17 men’s hairstyles. Unlike The Sims 2, the 39 hairstyles are hair only, as hats and other accessories can be selected separately and are not part of the Sim’s hairstyle. As with almost every element in the game, the texture and color of the hats can be modified.
CAS also includes other accessories to be placed separately on the Sim (gloves, glasses, bracelets, earrings) that are also modified with the styling tool. Male Sims can also wear makeup just like in The Sims 2.
The skin color is different for each Sim. The game allows you to choose from six color ranges, three similar to human skin color, one green, one blue and one red. Each color can be altered from its lightest to darkest form by means of a scrollable bar. Three types of voices can be chosen and the pitch (high-bass) of each can be modified by means of a slider bar.

Since the images and information of The Sims 4 were revealed, fans have been comparing between versions in order to show which one is the best and in which aspects the latest one has improved compared to the past versions. In this post I have compiled the best comparisons I could find on the net, created with images of The Sims, The Sims 2, The Sims 3 VS The Sims 4.
The graphical leap from the first version to the second is simply amazing. In terms of character detail, the change between The Sims 2 and The Sims 3 was significant, as was the change from The Sims 3 to The Sims 4.
Thanks to this SimsVIP comparison we can appreciate how the characteristic expressiveness of The Sims 2 returns to the saga with The Sims 4. Not saying that the Sims of the third generation were not expressive, but they are not so much.
(The images were taken for our custom content created only with the base game, and not exactly trying to compare it with an image of The Sims 4, for that reason the objects are not as similar as possible).

Sims 3 or Sims 4 2020
SimGuruRyan has given an interview to Digital Spy, in which he surprised us by stating that The Sims 4 will be much more optimized than The Sims 3, to the point that gamers with low-end computers will have less problems playing The Sims 4 than they had with the 2009 title.
This doesn’t mean that they’re going to remove aspects of the game as long as they work well on older computers, but rather that the lower graphics/simulation options will work better for those computers (and perhaps do remove certain secondary aspects of the game when we set the options to the minimum, as you might expect).
“We know that our players have a wide variety of technical specifications on their computers. We want to make sure that anyone playing from a low-end computer has as great an experience as someone with a high-end rig.”
“Right now we’re working hard to optimize game performance, shorten loading screens and making sure everything looks beautiful, the Sims look vibrant, and your gaming experience is just as fun no matter what computer you’re playing on.”
