The code assignment is maintained by the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe as the distinguishing marks used on vehicles in international traffic (sometimes abbreviated to DSIT), authorized by the United Nations (UN) Geneva Convention on Road Traffic of 1949 and the Vienna Convention on Road Traffic of 1968. Law 18/1989, of July 25, 1989, on the Bases of Traffic, Circulation of Motor Vehicles and Road Safety, allowed the Government to address the unquestionable technical complexity that the regulation of the matter related to vehicles entails through the development of the corresponding bases, by means of Royal Legislative Decree 339/1990, of March 2, 1990, which approves the text of the Law on Traffic, Circulation of Motor Vehicles and Road Safety.
The General Regulation on Vehicles is, in short, an executive Regulation, which develops, complements and details the articulated text of the Law on Road Safety, although it is not a general or complete development of said text, but rather a partial development or execution, since it is limited to developing and complementing part of Title I and Title IV of the articulated text of the Law.
As regards “changes of ownership of the vehicle”, Articles 32 and 33 regulate the procedures to be followed for vehicle transfers, distinguishing transfers between persons not engaged in the sale and purchase of vehicles from those involving vehicle sellers, thus substantially modifying the procedure regulated in Article 247 of the Highway Code.
Where is this registration from?
In order to formalize the registration of the TFG it will be necessary to have registered all the subjects required to complete the study plan, and it must be done within the corresponding registration period. This registration is a prerequisite for the assignment of a tutor. Students will only have the right to be assigned a subject and director once they are enrolled, eliminating the possibility of this being done prior to enrollment.
A list is published with the topics of specialization of the professors who will direct the TFG during the course. Taking this information into account, students will choose their research topic (up to 13) in order of preference through GAUR.
